The Early Learning Coalition of the Nature Coast is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring high-quality early education and care for children in Citrus, Dixie, Gilchrist, Levy, and Sumter Counties. Through a community-based collaborative approach, we are committed to promoting high quality early learning, advocating on behalf of children and preparing every child for success in both school and life.
Excellence serves as the ELC’s cultural cornerstone, guiding our promise of service and responsible stewardship. With a sense of urgency, we work innovatively to optimize and employ our resources, accepting individual and collective responsibility for continuous improvement in our service to clients, providers, and communities.
The Coalition will collaborate with parents to integrate a system of services and facilitate quality early education programs that include linkages to all areas of child development.
All children will have access to quality early education and care, and enter school ready to learn.
